A Double-Dose Of Jazz For International Jazz Day & You’re All Welcome!

27th April 2021

Mike and I are mega excited this week to be able to offer a DOUBLE-DOSE of our favourite jazz as part of the 10th International Jazz Day on Friday 30th April. We’d be delighted if you can join us (from the comfort of your own home).

First up is our radio show ‘The BIG Jazz Hullabaloo’ on JazzBites radio at 6.00pm (BST). This week we’ll be playing some jazz classics along with great tracks from some of our jazz friends including a radio premiere of a brand new track by jazz GIANT Ray Gelato. We’ll also be featuring new music from guitarist Denny Ilett with Adrian Cox on clarinet plus music from the fabulous Liane Carroll (who has also recorded a jingle for our show) and our good friend from New Jersey, guitarist B.D. Lenz. There’ll also be all the usual fun and chat. You can tune in worldwide on channel 2 at:

After that, we’d love you to head on over to my Facebook profile page for a live streamed gig from London venue Toulouse Lautrec from 7.30pm. It will be so lovely to be back on stage with our band buddies Anders Olinder on piano and Mike Green on double bass. We’ll be performing some of our favourite jazz standards for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home for a fabulous, jazzy Friday night! Here’s a little video to whet your appetite, a beautiful tune called ‘My One And Only Love’, recorded during some tenor saxophone practise at home today:

Below is the link to join the live stream at 7.30pm. If you aren’t on Facebook, don’t worry, I will aim to upload the full gig video to my YouTube channel after the event so you’ll be able to view it at your leisure. Everyone is welcome free of charge, but any donations to the band members and venue will be greatly appreciated (link also below):
