*EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT – Return to Cheltenham Jazz Festival!

I am thrilled (actually more than thrilled – overjoyed) to be announcing this. Following my debut performance in the main Jazz Arena at Cheltenham Jazz Festival last year I have been invited back to close the DEYA Arena stage this year on the bank holiday Monday 4th May. As a Cheltenham girl born and bred I have been passionately flying the flag for all local jazz musicians, having played many times on the Around Town free festival stages for the past 17 years. It was a milestone achievement getting a slot in the main jazz festival last year, but I was not expecting to be asked back again this year….so WOW!  The full festival line-up has just been announced and you can check it out here – https://www.cheltenhamfestivals.org/whats-on

It’s the 30th anniversary festival (29th April – 4th May) and it means the absolute world to be part of it. I will be there performing my Funky Latin Jazz Party set which will be the perfect celebratory way to close the festival. Performing with me as my special guest is the fabulous, hugely dynamic Ashley Slater on trombone and vocals PLUS my amazing band – Chris Cobbson on guitar, Alex Steele on keys, Rob Rickenberg on bass and hubby Mike Cypher on drums.

Tickets go on public sale on 4th March at 10.00am but please keep the date (and time) for me – Monday 4th May 6.30pm. Let’s celebrate together and have a funky jazztastic time! YAYYYY!
